Caring and sharing is when you're tired of watching TV, the phone rings and another resident is inviting you to do something with them or with them and other residents (play dominoes, canasta, go get ice cream, reminisce about old times, etc.).
I like the people and the activity. You can do whatever you wish. If you are not feeling up to par, that’s okay too. Your friends and neighbors will check on you. I know… I’ve been there! I’m 87 and if I keep laughing — who knows how long I’ll be here! I would recommend to anyone that they move to Crestwood Village. I’ve referred friends to Crestwood Village a couple of times in the past. If you like people and you wish to be active, this is the place to be.
Here at Crestwood, everything is kept immaculate. I have my flowers and my patio. I feel safe, and I like knowing there are people around me. I don’t feel alone. There are always activities going on… bingo, euchre, Bible study, line dancing and ballroom dancing, trips, Red Hat Club and Men’s Club. One of the most important features for me is the free bus transportation. I’ve made some wonderful friends since I moved here. I hope to call Crestwood Village home for many years to come.
Why do I stay at Crestwood? My comfortable and spacious apartment is a wonderful home base. The activities provided are many and diverse, and create the possibility of a creative, fun-filled life. From the bus transportation to blood pressure — convenience and a variety of amenities are available. What I treasure most of all are the wonderful people… residents and staff… who share this place with me.
Crestwood Village living gives you a whole new way of life for your senior years and a home you can be proud of. Living here takes the work out of your life and replaces it with fun.
